Funny Menu Items

On countless occasions, we've exchanged laughs over strange menu items while on vacation. We are repeatedly shocked over the bad translations - who proof reads this stuff?
 I wish I would have kept better track of these over the years, especially now that I have a forum in which to share them!

Lisbon:

• Pizza with four sea sons

Avignon:

• Mellow of hot nanny goat in salad

Istanbul was a treasure trove:

• Appetzers
• ok, not THAT bad
• Lamp Chops
• Crap Legs
• Different kinds of coid hors d'oeuvres the Tukey
• I think they meant Mezze - but how can you be sure??
• Bouled of lam maet with cheese gratine

Montreal:

• Duck thing confit, roasted roots, potato puree, molasse and rasberry vinegar sauce. 
• I think they were aiming for the word: THIGH ...  I hope!

San Remo

• Spaghetti with COCKLES
• As opposed to MUSSELS. Technically not inaccurate!
